Welcome to the Davis Performing Arts Collective!

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to making high quality fine arts performance opportunities available to all the youth in Davis County. Fine Arts productions are known to be competitive and exclusive. Here at DPAC, we cast anyone that auditions from Kindergarten to 18 years old regardless of experience or financial situation. We always keep participation costs as low as possible and have scholarship opportunities available as well. There is a place for everyone in our production and we promise that the experience will be unforgettable!

What makes DPAC unique?

This isn’t just a dance production, this is a collective of all the fine arts! You will see dancing, acting, and even live music incorporated into all of our productions. We want to bring together all the youth, and the entire fine arts community across Davis County to create an all-inclusive, professional-level production that will leave you wanting more. This is a once in a lifetime experience and it is completely accessible to everyone.

Meet the Directors

Meredith Wright
Artistic Director

Meredith has been teaching dance in various capacities for nearly 20 years. Meredith received the prestigious William F. Christensen ballet scholarship at the University of Utah. During her time there, she had the opportunity to develop as a performer and choreographer. She performed on stages in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Beijing, China. She danced professionally with Poetic Rebound Performing Company in Iowa City as a soloist and choreographer. She was the artistic director of Natalie’s Performing Arts where she helped produce and choreograph a dance performance of “The Grinch.” She is currently the artistic director of the Davis High Dance Company, a position she cherishes and loves. She is proud to be the artistic director of Davis Performing Arts Collective. She knows the power and light that come from the performing arts and wants to share her love through the art form of dance. She is a loving wife and mother to three children.

Mallory Wright
Executive Director

Mallory has been fully immersed in the fine arts her entire life, performing both music and dance. She studied music at the University of Arizona, where she was a member of Harpfusion, the largest touring harp ensemble in the world. With Harpfusion, she performed concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Austria, and Brazil, where she performed as a featured soloist. Mallory graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a degree in Harp Performance. She went on to play with the Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra as their principal harpist until 2015. She was the production manager for Natalie’s Performing Arts nonprofit production of “The Grinch.” As a founder of the Davis Performing Arts Collective, she is thrilled to help the youth in Davis County discover their individuality, confidence, and self-acceptance through involvement in the performing arts. Mallory runs a private harp studio and teaches dance at Clytie Adams School of Ballet. Mallory is married to her childhood sweetheart and greatest supporter, Dallin. They have five beautiful children together.

Maryann Briggs
Production Director

Maryann has always had a passion for dance and music. As a harpist, she has performed in various locations through the United States including the Bellagio in Las Vegas and internationally in the Czech Republic. She currently has her own private harp studio and has taught for more than 20 years. She’s also been a dance teacher at Clytie Adams School of Ballet for 14 years. She was involved in Natalie’s Performing Arts rendition of “The Grinch”. She loves seeing children express their hearts and build confidence through the performing arts. When she’s not teaching, she’s running marathons, mountain biking, and caring for her husband and four wonderful children.

Maura Forsgren
Costume Director

Maura was born and raised in Davis County. Dancing through her childhood she never anticipated that she and her artistic husband would both go on to earn their Masters of Accounting degrees. Luckily, her husband, Taylor, has always helped to keep her foot in the dance world by teaching in her spare time and starting Natalie’s Performing Arts in 2016. As the mother to two wild little boys, Oliver and Henry, she loves to share the performing arts with them and is so excited to be a part of the Davis Performing Arts family! The magic that takes place on a stage is so special and she believes everyone deserves to experience it!
